Abstract

The aim of this work is to point out the specifics of handwritten marginalia, notes and graphic marks in books preserved in the library of Franciscan order in Bratislava by the former owner Peter de Meszchor. Out of the selected books, the most interesting are those written by St. John Chrysostom as they include many marginalia and notes. The work is trying to analyse and compare them with the ideas and teachings of St. John Chrysostom.
