Abstract
Balzer’s family of engravers, who worked in Prague in the last third of the 18th century, took part in the production of religious prints in addition to their artistic copper-engraving activities. It was mainly Jan Balzer and his brothers Mathes and Gregor, who in this area were engaged in publishing, thematic illustration, the creation of publishing brands and also religious small copper engravings, supplemented by printed text. Approximately 97 prints were captured in this study. Some were published in two edition, some illustrations were repeated in them.
