Abstract
The Vizsoly Bible is a rare print of Hungarian book printing and literature and in 2015 it was included among the most valuable national cultural monuments, the so-called hungarica. During the research of bibles in the parent institution, several discrepancies were found in the state of preservation of other specimens in Slovak libraries compared to the state published by a professional Hungarian bibliography in 1971. Therefore, the state of preservation was verified in person, through library staff and the latest bibliographies. In contrast to the mentioned Hungarian bibliography (RMNy), I present and describe the signatures, scope, binding and possessory records of individual specimens, if they could be found. This will help prevent future identification in the event of theft and loss. The conclusion contains summary information on preserved, lost and newly identified specimens.
