In our paper we would like to present a brief summary of history of the Pedagogical Library of J. A. Komenský in Prague. Also, we would like to focus on the present activities and projects in which our institution participates (eg. Center for School Libraries; Suk Survey – Everyone is reading to support children’s reading; participation in the Memory Institutions for Schools project, etc.). We would also briefly discuss professional activities such as: building a pedagogical bibliographic database and administration of the Czech Pedagogical Thesaurus.
