Abstract

Bohuslav Tablic‘s literary-historical and editorial activities represent a solid foundation
of Slovak literary historiography and textology. Moreover, they are an expression not only
of his interest in history or his wish to study old literary monuments, but they have also
a much wider and significantly updating dimension.
