Abstract

The issue of personal libraries in Slovakia represents a complex scientific-research task,
which will focus on the identification and analysis of preserved parts of these funds. As
part of the project – the General Catalogue 16th century prints preserved in Slovakia, we
have discovered an interesting torso of books from Melchior Krupek’s personal library
during the processing of 16th century prints from the collection of Podolínec Piarists. The
paper focuses on the analysis of scientific works from this library.
