In the second half of the 19th century, several printing houses and publishing houses operated in the geographical space of today's Budapest, which at the same time published and printed books in the Slovak language. Several of the books were intended for use in schools and the educational process (e.g. alphabets, syllabus, readers, textbooks, linguistic works, etc.). The paper focuses on the production of this type of prints published in four companies – corporations Buda University Printing House and Minerva, individuals Viktor Horňánský, Alojz Bučanský, respectively Koloman Rózsa.
